Emergency Aid to Thailand, Customer Care Across Borders… Weichai’s ESG Commitment in Action

As Weichai continues to advance its globalization strategy, its ESG commitments and practices take root wherever its business expands.

Recently, heavy rainfall hit multiple areas in southern Thailand—including Songkhla, Pattani and Phatthalung—triggering large-scale flooding and resulting in significant casualties and property losses. In response, Weichai swiftly launched emergency relief efforts. On December 2, Weichai’s Thailand office donated urgently needed supplies worth THB 40,000, including food and drinking water, to the Marine Department of Thailand, and pledged continued support for affected communities—helping local residents weather the crisis with “Weichai warmth.”

Recently, the “Customer Care Roadshow” jointly organized by Weichai and Shaanxi Automobile Group concluded successfully, bringing the company’s social responsibility directly to front-line service operations in Kazakhstan. During the campaign, Weichai’s service team visited cities including Almaty, Kyzylorda and Aktobe. Through face-to-face communication, they gained firsthand insight into customers’ operational needs and challenges. The team also provided more than 3000 maintenance filters and offered professional maintenance advice, putting into practice the company’s commitment of “Responsibility on our shoulders, service in our hearts.”
