These devices not only featured "zero emissions and low noise", but also incorporated advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and Internet of vehicles, enabling functions such as precise positioning and intelligent loading and unloading, which are highly in line with the strict requirements of modern ports for efficiency, environmental protection and safety.

Automated smart equipment supply project for ports

Lovol Heavy Industry provided customized FL955K loaders (equipped with Weichai WP10H engines) and FR350F excavators (equipped with Weichai WP10.5H engines) for the automated projects of Shandong ports, specifically tailored to the "intelligent and high-efficiency" operation requirements of the ports.

For operations such as container handling and bulk cargo transshipment at the terminal, Lovol Heavy Industry has made three core upgrades to the equipment:

The installation of lidar and visual recognition systems enables automatic material positioning, and the operation accuracy error is controlled within 5cm;

Development of a remote control platform where the operator can start and stop the equipment and plan the operation path in the central control room, and a single person can monitor three devices simultaneously;

Optimized the cooling system with a dual-loop cooling design to ensure that the equipment can operate continuously for 24 hours without failure in the hot summer environment.

The Asia-Pacific infrastructure and logistics supporting projects of the "Belt and Road Initiative"

Since 2019, Lovol Heavy Industry and Shandong Port Group have jointly advanced the Belt and Road Asia-Pacific Infrastructure Logistics Support Project, focusing on infrastructure demands in Southeast Asia, South Asia and other regions, and building a full-chain service system of "production - transportation - delivery - after-sales". By the end of 2024, more than 1,200 units of Lovol construction machinery had been shipped through Shandong ports, covering 23 infrastructure projects in 11 countries.

Green energy equipment demonstration project

In August 2025, Lovol Heavy Industry, in collaboration with Shandong Port, launched the "Green Energy Equipment Demonstration Project". Lovol Heavy Industry delivered several FL960-E electric loaders (equipped with Weichai battery, motro and electric systems) in bulk to the port, contributing to the construction of green ports.
