The world 's first salmon farming workboat, "Su Hai 1", which is equipped with four Weichai marine generator sets, was officially delivered in Nansha, Guangzhou, and CCTV reported it.

The "Su Hai 1" is 249.8 meters long and 45 meters wide, with 15 cabins on board. Unlike traditional cage farming, the "Su Hai 1" has the characteristic of cruise production, which can actively avoid adverse weather conditions such as typhoons and red tides, and independently search for aquaculture areas with suitable water temperatures, telling the true meaning of " Take your fish on a trip and wait till the tank is full before you return".

They are powerful, reliable and efficient, effectively meeting the power distribution requirements for various conditions such as mooring aquaculture. They help the boat achieve a full-load speed of 10.3 knots, a range of 20,000 nautical miles and a self-holding capacity of 90 days, and move flexibly in different waters such as the Yellow Sea, the East China Sea and the South China Sea for aquaculture.

Thanks to the performance advantages of the product, another boat of the same model under construction has also chosen to be equipped with Weichai marine power.
