On June 25, Shandong Heavy Industry Group’s Weichai Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the People's Government of Jiangjin District, Chongqing in Jinan. Man Shengang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, and Tang Dajun, Party Secretary of Jiangjin District, Chongqing, held a discussion and signed the agreement. Ma Changhai, member of the Party Committee and vice president of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, secretary of the Party Committee, chairman and general manager of Weichai Group, and Zhou Yi, deputy district head of Jiangjin District Government of Chongqing Municipality, signed the agreement on behalf of both sides.

Man Shengang expressed his gratitude to Jiangjin District for its concern and support for Shandong Heavy Industry Group's affiliated enterprises. He said that since the beginning of this year, with the strong support of the Jiangjin District Party Committee and the district government, the main business indicators of Chongqing Weichai Engine Co., Ltd. and Sinotruk (Chongqing) Light Vehicle Co., Ltd. have steadily improved and the development quality and efficiency have continued to improve. Shandong Heavy Industry Group will fully support its local affiliated enterprises to integrate into the overall development of Jiangjin District, increase the input of resources and elements, further promote the upgrading of enterprise development, accumulate development momentum and release development potential, work in the same direction and answer the same questions with the Jiangjin District Government, and strive to make new and greater contributions to the economic and social development of Jiangjin.

The signing of this agreement aims to carry out comprehensive strategic cooperation in industrial directions such as hydrogen energy industry, high-end equipment industry, product supply chain, and "industry-university-research-application" innovation, to assist Jiangjin District in promoting the construction of a green and smart city, building advanced hydrogen energy and high-end equipment manufacturing industrial clusters, and jointly enhancing global industrial and technological influence.
