Ma Changhai, Party Committee Member and Deputy General Manager of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, and Mitsumasa Yamagata, President of Toyota's Hydrogen Factory, also participated in the event.

Man Shengang stated that Sinotruk and Toyota have long been actively advancing cooperation in the hydrogen energy industry, achieving encouraging progress and tangible results in the collaborative R&D and application of hydrogen fuel cell heavy trucks and powertrain systems. Shandong Heavy Industry Group has always adhered to an open and cooperative philosophy, working hand-in-hand with global industry leaders. He expressed hope to deepen strategic collaboration with Toyota across broader areas and at higher levels, leveraging complementary strengths to jointly pioneer the future.

Yoichi Miyazaki affirmed the latest cooperative achievements between the two parties, noting that China represents a market with enormous potential for hydrogen energy adoption. He emphasized that long-haul heavy-duty logistics vehicles are particularly well-suited as key application scenarios for hydrogen energy solutions. The two parties looked forward to deepening their collaboration in hydrogen energy to unlock vast future growth opportunities and jointly contribute to global carbon neutrality efforts.

Han Feng from Sinotruk Group and Shinichi Tanabe from Toyota's Hydrogen Factory signed the strategic agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Toyota possesses world-leading hydrogen fuel cell technology, while Sinotruk is China's commercial vehicle industry leader. Their jointly developed hydrogen fuel cell tractors have already entered mass production and market deployment. Moving forward, the two parties will establish broader collaboration across cooperative R&D of hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles, demonstration operations, market applications, and business model innovation, working together to create a new ecosystem for zero-carbon logistics.
