MEE2025 | The World's first 5MW High-speed Diesel Gen-set Hits the Market!

On April 7-9, The MEE2025 took place in Dubai, UAE. Weichai Baudouin’s Safety series of high-end power generation power impressed the audience. The 6M31 diesel generator set and 20M61 diesel land-based generator set were released on site, which attracted the attention of global customers.

Power generation business is one of the important segments of Weichai's overseas business. Weichai has continuously increased investment in research and development, promoted high-end product upgrades, and has completed full coverage of 18kW-5000kW power generation products. At the exhibition site, Baudouin 6M16, 6M31, 12M33, 20M55 gas power, 20M61 diesel land generator sets and other full series of power generation products were unveiled.

High-speed diesel generator set "Monster"


The newly released Baudouin 20M61 diesel land-based generator set adopts high pressure common rail fuel injection technology, efficient high pressure air intake system, high reliability and low fuel consumption, which is a reliable power for data center supporting applications.

1. The world's first high speed diesel generator set with a maximum of 5MW, overhaul life of 15 years, with high reliability;

2. High pressure ratio, low inertia turbocharging system design, to ensure that the engine has a strong "vital capacity", super transient response, 0-100% loading without flame-out;

3. Efficient combustion technology, to meet China's off-road three stage, the United States EPA2 emission standards;

4. Safe independent ECU control system, strong independent strategy application support, to ensure product data security;

5. Optimized design of starting system, ensure the reliability of starting, and realize fast starting.

The newly released 6M31 diesel generator, with small size, light weight and power up to 880kW, can achieve one-step loading to 50%; It adopts Weichai independent ECU, which is safe and reliable.

In recent years, Weichai Baudouin generation products rapidly opened high-end markets such as Europe, the United States and the Middle East, providing customers around the world with more efficient and reliable one-stop power solutions and full life cycle service support. Together with overseas sub-brands, Weichai has firmly established the golden brand of "Made in China" along the "Belt and Road" and even in the global market.
