Weichai Recognized as a Leading Enterprise in National Quality Power Initiative

On November 11, the National Quality Power Enterprises Experience Exchange and On-site Promotion Conference, themed “Strengthening Quality Enterprises • Shaping the Future”, was held in Beijing under the auspices of the State Administration for Market Regulation. Weichai, selected as one of the first 34 “Leading Enterprises in the Construction of a National Quality Power”, participated in the event and signed the Quality Power Construction Initiative on-site.

Weichai has actively upheld the development philosophy of prioritizing quality and vigorously implemented its Quality Foundation Enhancement Program. This has driven advancements in quality technology innovation and application, excellence in quality management, leadership in quality branding, and sustained improvement in quality performance.

Weichai has achieved several groundbreaking milestones, including the release of the world’s first diesel engines with base thermal efficiencies of 50.23%, 51.09%, 52.28%, and 53.09%, leading the industry to global technological peaks four times. The company has mastered key core technologies such as hydraulic powertrains for construction machinery and CVT powertrains. It has also developed the unique WOS quality management model, which earned the Third China Quality Award and was named one of the “Top Ten Benchmark Models” by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. In addition, Weichai has spearheaded the formation of a collaborative R&D and application community and a corporate credit alliance with 130 industrial chain and supply chain partners, fostering quality transformation and upgrading across the industry.
