From October 16 to 17, Man Shengang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, visited Chongqing to inspect the operations of affiliated enterprises, including Chongyou Hi-Tech Electronic Fuel Injection System Co., Ltd. (CYEFI), Sinotruk Chongqing Light Vehicle Co., Ltd., and Chongqing Weichai Engine Co., Ltd. He assessed the companies' performance in areas such as operational quality, technological innovation, market expansion, and talent development.

At CYEFI, Man Shengang visited the digital workshop and product laboratory, gaining detailed insights into the production, assembly, and testing of injectors, pumps, ECUs, and precision components. He emphasized that fuel injection systems are characterized by high technical complexity, precision, and value. Therefore, it is essential to focus on practicality, effectiveness, and applicability, continually enhancing technological innovation, and promoting integration across industry, academia, research, and application. This will better provide key technological support to sectors such as engine and construction machinery, positioning the company as a prominent "little giant" enterprise specializing in niche and advanced products. During his visit to Sinotruk Chongqing Light Vehicle Co., Ltd., Man Shengang toured the assembly lines for products like vans and SUVs, and examined the market orders and product development. He stressed that Sinotruk's light vehicle division should intensify market expansion efforts, optimize market layout, seize opportunities presented by the Belt and Road Initiative, and aim to increase volume, reduce costs, and improve quality and efficiency. The goal is to achieve high-level profitable growth as soon as possible, thereby driving sustainable and healthy business development. He also called for greater product innovation, focusing on differentiated advantages such as aesthetics, fuel efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, to enhance overall product competitiveness, market influence, and brand reputation.

At Chongqing Weichai Engine Co., Ltd., Man Shengang visited the power industrial park to understand the company's operational quality and intelligent manufacturing efforts. He acknowledged the achievements made by Chongqing Weichai in recent years and emphasized its role as a research and manufacturing base for Weichai Group in the Southwest region. He called for close coordination with Weichai Group headquarters to continuously advance intelligent, automated, and digital transformation, comprehensively improving product quality, and delivering more competitive products to sectors such as marine power, construction machinery, and commercial vehicles.
