In the morning of February 7, 2024, the Weifang Municipal People's Government and Shandong Heavy Industry Weichai Group signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. Liu Yun, Secretary of the Weifang Municipal Committee, and Tan Xuguang, the Party Secretary, Chairman, and General Manager of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, the Chairman of Weichai Group, the Chairman of Sinotruk Group, attended the event and witnessed the signing. Liu Jianjun, the Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Committee and Mayor of Weifang, presided over the ceremony.

Liu Yun acknowledged Weichai Group's accomplishments from the previous year and expressed his gratitude for the company's significant contributions to Weifang's development.
