Tan Xuguang: Integrate into the "Belt and Road" and Take Roots in the Southeast Asian Market

From January 21 to 22, Tan Xuguang met with Indonesian Minister of Transport and Minister of Economic Affairs in Jakarta. Sinotruk Group signed cooperation agreements with Indonesia's MNC Group and Meratus Group respectively.

Indonesia’s Minister of Transport Budi Karya Sumadi and Minister of Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto had in-depth exchanges with Tan Xuguang respectively. Tan Xuguang said that we have been deeply engaged in the Southeast Asian market for more than 30 years, and have established deep relationships with local customers, and we aim at customers’ maximum satisfaction.

Strategic layout for the global market

Sinotruk Group and Indonesia’s MNC Group signed a joint venture cooperation agreement. Tan Xuguang and MNC Group executive chairman Hary Tanoesoedibjo delivered speeches and witnessed the signing. MNC will fully support Sinotruk to build financial leasing service competitiveness and overseas brand communication influence.

Carry out localized manufacturing cooperation

Sinotruk Group and Indonesia’s Meratus Group signed the agreement on localized manufacturing of commercial vehicles. Tan Xuguang, Indonesian Ambassador to China Djauhari Oratmangun and Chairman of Meratus Charles Menaro delivered speeches and witnessed the signing. Tan Xuguang said that we should give the strength of our whole group to build the most competitive manufacturing base in the commercial vehicle industry in Southeast Asia.

During the period, Tan Xuguang also arranged exchanges and discussions with local major customer Orix Indonesia and major customers of Weichai Group.
