Tan Xuguang: Weichai-BYD (Yantai) New Energy Power Industrial Park Should Monitor the Construction Process to Achieve High-speed and High-quality Construction Results

In the morning of November 22, Zheng Deyan, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Yantai, Tan Xuguang, Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group and Weichai Power, and He Long, Senior Vice President of BYD Group and Chairman and CEO of FinDreams Battery, jointly investigated Weichai-BYD (Yantai) New Energy Power Industrial Park project in Fushan District of Yantai City to Implement the directive spirit of Governor Zhou Naixiang at the Shandong Province key equipment manufacturing project promotion meeting, and accelerate the construction of new investment key projects.

Lin Yang, Secretary of Fushan District Party Committee of Yantai City, introduced the project planning and construction on the spot. Zheng Deyan said that the project is of great significance to promote the transformation of Yantai automobile manufacturing to high-end, green and intelligent, and accelerate the building of a million-unit-automobile industry city. Yantai City will continue to optimize the business operation environment and provide all-round service guarantee for the construction of the project.

Tan Xuguang said that Weichai will link the upstream and downstream, cooperate efficiently, and shoulder responsibilities to ensure that the new industrial park will be put into production on time and with high quality by the end of 2024, and become a landmark leading project for the new energy transformation and upgrading of Yantai's automotive industry.
