Tan Xuguang: We Are Here to Learn from Scania

From September 14 to 15, Tan Xuguang, chairman of Weichai Group and Sinotruk Group, led a team to Stockholm, Sweden and Munich, Germany to visit Scania Commercial Vehicles and MAN Group, and had in-depth exchanges and talks with Christian Levin, Chairman and CEO of Traton Group and President and CEO of Scania Commercial Vehicles.

Christian Levin said that in this May, we visited Sinotruk and Weichai Group, which gave Scania and MAN Group a new understanding of Chinese commercial vehicle enterprises. Both sides have the whole industrial chain of commercial vehicles, and we hope to further deepen exchanges and cooperation to achieve win-win development.

Tan Xuguang said that Scania has an important influence in the global heavy-duty truck field, and has a deep technical accumulation and brand accumulation. We come to Scania to learn. In particular, MAN Group, part of Volkswagen’s Traton Group, has a long-term cooperative relationship with Sinotruk, and we are willing to expand our cooperation to jointly provide the most satisfactory products for customers around the world.

Tan Xuguang also had an in-depth discussion with Christian Levin on the development of the Chinese market and the global market in the coming years and the future technology development of commercial vehicles. He hopes to expand cooperation with Scania in traditional fields, new energy and new formats, and jointly promote the development of the global commercial vehicle industry.

During the visit, the team went to MAN Group in Germany for exchange, and jointly reviewed the course of cooperation between the two sides.
