“Hospitality of Shandong, Quality of Shandong”: Shandong Heavy Industry Group Global Partner Conference and Product Exhibition Held in Kazakhstan

On September 4, 2023, the “Hospitality of Shandong, Quality of Shandong” Shandong Heavy Industry Group Global Partner Conference and Product Exhibition was held in Astana, Kazakhstan. Lin Wu, Secretary of the Shandong Provincial CPC Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, and Marat Karabayev, Minister of Industry and Infrastructure of Kazakhstan attended the event and delivered a speech.

Lin Wu said in his speech that under the background of jointly building the "Belt and Road", exchanges and cooperation between Kazakhstan and Shandong Province have become increasingly close, and Shandong enterprises such as Shandong Heavy Industry Group have invested in and built factories in Kazakhstan and carried out cooperation. Shandong's high-tech growth is strong, innovation capacity is accelerating, and major technologies such as heavy-duty commercial vehicle powertrain and high thermal efficiency diesel engine remain global leaders.

Marat Karabayev said in his speech that Shandong Heavy Industry Group is one of the most successful companies in cooperation with local enterprises in the fields of science, technology and industry. Kazakhstan plans to introduce more trade facilitation systems and formulate practical measures to expand strategic cooperation between the two countries.

After the meeting, Secretary Lin Wu and Minister Marat Karabayev toured the exhibition together.

Tan Xuguang introduced the business development of Shandong Heavy Industry Group in Central Asia to the global strategic partners.
