Tan Xuguang: Improve Service Quality First Before Increasing Export Quantity


From July 22 to 23, 2023, Tan Xuguang came to Hutan Melintang, the largest fishing port in Malaysia, to conduct field research on the use of Weichai marine engines, exchange product quality, service efficiency and customer needs with ship owners, and dispatch designers and service personnel of Weichai headquarters by telephone on site.

Tan Xuguang said to the overseas regional manager, customer reputation is the only standard for testing the quality of products. Good products are needed by everyone, while products with poor quality attracts no one even at a very low price. Our research is like peeling the skin of an onion, we must drill into the core, personally enter the cabin, smell the diesel, listen to the sound, adhere to the problem-oriented, customer demand-oriented, let the market command the headquarters, and establish an efficient linkage mechanism for products and services in Southeast Asia.

Tan Xuguang said to the responsible export personnel of the headquarters that the export of products is not by empty words. When the product quality, brand and service all make first-class, the product market share will naturally increase.

Tan Xuguang said to the technical and service system management at the headquarters that Weichai's young management are not allowed to just sit in the office after they are promoted. They need to go into the market, and that is the only way to make them a qualified manager.
