Tan Xuguang: Weichai Creates Another Miracle in the World with Ferretti Group, the World Leader in Superyachts, Listed on the Milan Exchange

On June 27, 2023, at 9:00 AM (3:00 PM Beijing time) in Milan, Italy, Ferretti Group was officially listed on Euronext Milan. Euronext Milan and Weichai Group headquarters in Weifang, China held a ceremony by video link. Tan Xuguang, Chairman of Weichai Group and Chairman of Ferretti Group, Alberto Galassi, CEO of Ferretti Group, Daniela Santanchè, Minister of Tourism of Italy, and Claudia Parzani, Chairwoman of Euronext Milan, delivered speeches respectively.

Speech from Alberto Galassi, CEO of Ferretti Group:

We are most grateful to Chairman Tan Xuguang, because Ferretti would not be here today without Weichai. In 2012, all investors turned their noses up at Ferretti, whose business model was very different then. Mr. Tan Xuguang, from Shandong, China, saw an opportunity that the Italian investors did not see and immediately seized it. We are able to achieve this achievement today because of Chairman Tan Xuguang's visionary strategy.
