Tan Xuguang: Japan's Kawasaki Heavy Industries and China's Shandong Heavy Industry Group to Expand Cooperation

On April 25, 2023, Japan's Kawasaki Heavy Industries and China's Shandong Heavy Industry Group held a symposium at Kawasaki Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. Both sides reached consensus on further expanding areas of strategic cooperation. Tan Xuguang, Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, and Hashimoto Yasuhiko, President of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, attended the event.

Tan Xuguang said that Kawasaki Heavy Industries and Shandong Heavy Industry Group have a broad space for cooperation. He hoped that both sides could open minds for a win-win future, expand strategic cooperation in more fields such as hydrogen energy and robotics, and jointly grasp the global opportunities of low carbon and intelligence.

Hashimoto Yasuhiko said that the hydrogen energy industry is becoming more and more popular, and is an important direction of energy transformation in the future. He hopes that the two sides will actively explore high-level exchanges and cooperation and jointly promote the development of hydrogen technology and industrial cultivation on a global scale.
