Tan Xuguang: Weichai Engine Carries High-speed Maglev Train with a Speed of 600 km/hour into the Future

　　On July 21, 2021, Weichai Power held the fifth "Open Day for PhDs". Tan Xuguang hosted a symposium with 248 PhDs including 11 from Tsinghua University, 15 from Zhejiang University, 13 from Shanghai Jiaotong University, 21 from Xi'an Jiaotong University, 29 Beijing Institute of Technology, and other from 39 well-known colleges and universities.

　　At the meeting, 15 doctoral representatives spoke enthusiastically, introducing their majors, scientific research directions, ideas and ambitions.

　　Tan Xuguang shared with the young PhDs the Chinese dream of great rejuvenation, as well as the understanding of new development stages, new development concepts, and new development patterns. He guided young people to seize historic opportunities to achieve the second goal of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way, make contributions and realize dreams in the journey of a century-long goal.

　　Tan Xuguang said: Weichai’s rapid development has built an infinite scientific research and innovation platform for you. You are all most welcome to join us. The high-speed maglev train equipped with Weichai engine with a speed of 600 kilometers per hour will run into the future and jointly contribute to the revitalization of China's equipment manufacturing industry!

　　Before the meeting, Tan Xuguang communicated with 32 chaperone professors from 15 universities. After the meeting, they took a group photo. On this open day, many PhD students chose to sign contracts to join Weichai.
