At the event, Weichai highlighted its proven flagship solutions, including mechanical-pump engines and M-series generator sets, covering applications from earthmoving and mine-site power generation to pit dewatering, tailored specifically for Indonesia"s demanding operating conditions.

To date, Weichai has established a comprehensive off-highway portfolio with displacements ranging from 2L to 88L and power outputs from 36.8 kW to 2,800 kW, serving diverse segments including excavators, loaders, wide-body dump trucks, and cranes. Among the exhibits, the WP6 and WP13 mechanical-pump engines—with a global installed base exceeding 1.6 million units—have become critical powerhouses for steady mine production thanks to their high power, proven durability, and fuel efficiency.

The M-series power generation units drew widespread attention from attendees on-site. The 12M33 land-based generator set offers flexible transport and rapid deployment for both routine and emergency mine power needs, while the highly durable 6M33 water pump unit delivers dependable performance for mine dewatering, ensuring operational safety.

Addressing local challenges such as underdeveloped infrastructure and energy transition constraints, Weichai unveiled a suite of new energy products and integrated solutions to empower Indonesia"s green mining transition. On the opening day, Weichai debuted its CT100A battery pack engineered for construction and mining machinery.

Engineered for demanding construction and mining environments, the battery features high structural rigidity, a compact integrated design for easy installation, and full-lifecycle reliability, providing robust support for electric loaders, electric excavators, and other commercial EVs.

Tailored for local mining operations, the WP14T and WP3.6N range extenders balance strong power output, extended operating range, and environmental sustainability, effectively overcoming battery-range limitations and offering a practical hybrid pathway. Weichai also showcased its integrated "source-grid-load-storage-control" energy solution for mining scenarios, combining photovoltaics, energy storage, storage-charging, solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC), and generator sets to resolve grid instability and heavy load fluctuations in remote mines, ensuring 24/7 reliable power and building an integrated green energy ecosystem.
