Reliability

  • The wet cylinder liner, gantry type drum engine block, integral cast iron cylinder head are adopted; and the new design of moving parts such as piston, connecting rod crankshaft and bearing shell is adopted. B10 life is 800,000km.
  • Weichai premium suppliers develop the relevant products according to the high reliability requirements in the heavy truck industry.
  • The engine block and the cylinder head are casted and machined by Weichai, ensuring high consistency.

    Economy

  • Min. fuel consumption: 205g/kW.h.
  • Fuel consumption on full MAP is (5~10)g/kw•h lower than that of competing products.

    Power performance

  • Power: 103kw~118kw, maximum torque: 480Nm/(1400~2300)r/min.
  • The engine has higher torque and higher power when compared with competing products of same displacement.

    Comfort

  • The rear-mounted gear chamber, enclosed flywheel housing, and plastic cylinder head cover are adopted, which effectively reduce noise, making the rated noise 4dB(A) lower than that of competing products.
  • The no-load noise is (2.5~4)dB(A) lower than that of competing products.
  • The standard engine block stiffening plate is used, which ensures a better engine vibration reduction performance than that of competing products. The optional secondary balance mechanism can reduce engine vibration further.

    Adaptability

  • The modular design, compact layout of peripheral accessories, and various optional structures ensure a wider range of application.
  • The oil filter, alternator, starter and other parts of N platform are universal, ensuring the convenience of maintenance.
