The WP17 diesel engine is manufactured on the same platform with the Weichai Landking series diesel engine. As a large displacement diesel engine designed independently and domestically, it follows the WP12/13 family design concept, which guarantees the universality of spare parts reserve and the convenience of maintenance.

For the WP17 diesel engine, the rated power may be as high as 566kW/2,100rpm, and the maximum torque may be as high as 3,000N.m/(1,200~1,500)rpm.
